What’s Up With Collagen?

2018 is the year of collagen and skin care. At least for me anyways!

You’ve probably seen SO many Instagram posts with Vital Proteins. To be honest that’s what made me look into it.

So, here’s what you need to know:

Hair, Skin, Nails Collagen helps improve skin elasticity. AKA wrinkles! I have noticed my skin become more plump with less fine lines after using collagen consistently for the past few months.

Digestion This is an issue I’ve been dealing with for the past few years. Collagen helps to heal your gut’s lining and to absorb water which keeps things moving more efficiently. Digestion is honestly the key to life and if this is off, your whole life is off, trust me!

Joint Health I’ve never really struggled with this but if you do, collagen can help lubricate your joints, reducing pain. Think oiling a creaky door hinge.

My favorite brand is Vital Proteins. Specifically, their collagen peptides. I’ve tried the creamer which was delish, but for the money I’d rather have the regular peptides so I can mix it in anything. Plus, 10g of protein in one scoop! (Not sponsored..but I wish LOL)

P.S. You literally CANNOT taste them and they mix in completely. No grittiness!!
